Description
Three teenage girls from different backgrounds return to work for another summer in the Hamptons as au pairs for a wealthy family. Your favorite bikini-clad au pairs, Mara, Eliza, and Jacqui, are back. This summer is the same as last in a lot of ways: They are still working for the Perrys, still juggling bratty but oh-so-lovable kids, and still managing to find trouble (and a party!) at every turn. But this summer, if it's even possible, they will have more fun, more sun, and more romance than they know how to handle. While Eliza's family is slowly rebuilding their fallen finances, Eliza lands an internship at one of the Hamptons' hottest clubs and thusly opts out of the au pair position. At first Jacqui and Mara are ticked, until they meet Eliza's replacement, Laurent. The new au pair is gorgeous, French, and a guy! Mara ended things with Ryan Perry last fall, and while he still seems to be licking his wounds, she falls right into the arms of the creepy Reynolds heir. Meanwhile Eliza is trying to hide from Mara her winter-break hookup with Ryan. And even Jacqui's back in the game. In fact, she's fighting with her boss, Mrs. Perry, for the hot new au pair's affections. All this stress, not to mention new demands for the children's education and usually high doses of Page Six drama, could take its toll on the Hamptons' It girls. If they're not careful, their friendships, their romances, and their jobs could fade as fast as last year's Shoshanna bikinis. This is a sequel to The Au Pairs.
