Description
South Dakota Territory ~ 1867 Renegade Indians terrorize the land! Their latest attack-a small wagon train. With her husband dead, Rebecca Marcos Roberts seeks refuge in a nearby forest! The attack attracts a Lakota hunting party, bringing the handsome White Hawk to Rebeccas rescue. With winter approaching, White Hawk is forced to take Rebecca back to his camp. A teacher, Rebecca agrees to teach the Lakota children English during her stay. Next in line to be chief, and promised to another woman, White Hawk struggles with growing feelings for the beautiful Spaniard. While Rebecca, filled with guilt for her attraction to White Hawk, concentrates on fitting in with the Lakota people, they vow to stay away from each other, but when the renegades threaten the tribe, White Hawk becomes determined to protect those he loves, including Rebecca! White Hawk and Rebecca discover hidden dangers and unexpected surprises!
