General Note
Over the past three years, interventions to lower sugar sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption have continued to evolve and proliferate across the nation and around the world. Reduction in SSB consumption is linked to a decrease in diet-related disease and childhood obesity, a lower risk of overweight among normal-weight adolescents, and weight loss among overweight adolescents.
